ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm Nina Lane, LMSW, a proud Atlanta native with a passion for empowering social workers to thrive in their careers. I graduated with honors from Savannah State University earning my Bachelors of Social Work in 2016 and my Masters of Social Work in 2017. Currently I'm pursuing my Doctorate in Social Work at the University of Kentucky, with anticipated graduation in May 2026. 


With over seven years of experience in the field, my career has taken me across diverse settings. I spent five years as a community-based therapist working with children and families, helping them navigate challenges and build stronger connections. I've also worked in a psychiatric hospital on the children's unit, providing critical care in high-stress environments. My travel social work experience includes medical social work and school-based therapy for children with special needs, focusing on individualized education plans (IEPs). Currently, I serve as a full-time renal social worker and PRN as a behavioral health assessor in a hospital.
